Each November, we host a number of activities for Epilepsy Awareness Month, such as our End Epilepsy Statewide Conference and Expressions of Hope Gala, but due to the social distancing requirements, these events have unfortunately been canceled.
Do not despair! Just because we all still may be at home, that doesn't mean we can't have fun! We have been diligently working behind the scenes to create our upcoming event, STILL Home for the Holidays, a virtual Holiday Concert to celebrate and benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana. 2020 has been a challenging year for many of us and that is why the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana needs your support more than ever during these unprecedented times. We hope you will register NOW so that you can join us on Thursday, December 3 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for this festive fundraising event that is sure to get you into the Holiday spirit with song, humor, and giving!
The evening's festivities will include entertainment by Broadway and TV performers Sara Gettelfinger and Gayle King and our emcee for the evening will be Bill Menish, a 15-time award-winning broadcast journalist. You will sing, you will laugh, and between now and then, you will also have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for some amazing items, such as an Escape to Florida on a luxury yacht, a $500 Holiday Shopping Spree, and a Bottle of Pappy, andmore! Raffle tickets are $25 each and you can purchase as many as you like!
All funds raised from this event will directly support the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana's vital education, advocacy, outreach, and direct client services. The best part of it all is, you and your family can participate from ANYWHERE! Registration is now open to buy raffle tickets and make donations prior to the Holiday concert. Be sure to mark your calendars and register online. The concert will take place on Facebook Live so when we get closer to December 3, you will receive instructions about how to access the STILL Home for the Holidays concert and raffle drawing. Someone's going win these awesome prizes, so it might as well be YOU!
