The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
Services we offer include:
This project provides financial support to clients in purchasing
a seizure responce dog that will provide greater independence and a better
quality of life. Seizure response dogs are trained to provide both physical and emotional support. The funding helps those children and adults seeking a service dog, who are impacted by drug resistant epilepsy, of which causes them to be at risk of suffering injuries from uncontrolled seizures, and even worse, sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP).
Operations Outreach offers support to veterans affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic epilepsy (PTE).
